Tim grew up in the Midwest, with stops in Iowa, Kansas, and Minnesota before the family headed west to Arizona.
Needing a way to "vent" some creativity, Tim and a group of buddies began submitting song parodies to KZZP Radio in Phoenix in the late 1980's. After serving a church mission in Mexico City, Tim went on to Brigham Young University to become a television sports anchor. He quickly found out he had the face for radio (as demonstrated,) and the voice for closed-captioning. His focus switched to production behind the camera.
The last sixteen years have included moves to the Boston area, Arizona and Utah. He has been blessed with a couple of Rocky Mountain Emmy Awards (Promotion), a Telly Award (Animation), and Utah Broadcaster Awards.
He currently works for KUTV 2 News (CBS) and Savage Pictures in Salt Lake City. His main duties are to create motion graphics for station and news promotion, documentaries, feature films, movie trailers, and episodic television. The tools in use include After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightwave, and VT[4].
He and his wife, Alicia, are the proud parents of five daughters who, thankfully, look like their mom.
